There are several variations of the Martini Cocktail.
Among the best known is the Montgomery Martini, given its name by Hemingway, who liked to drink his Martini very dry, with a ratio of 15 parts Gin to 1 part Vermouth, the same ratio of soldiers with which General Montgomery liked to attack his enemy.
The Vesper Martini is the original James Bond “shaken not stirred” Martini, created according to the Bond film in honour of his Bond girl Vesper, which included the addition of a small amount of vodka.
Another very famous variant that we would like you to taste today is the Dirty Martini, which is “dirty” with olive brine.
