One of the most famous variations of the Negroni is the Negroni Sbagliato (the ‘wrong’ Negroni).
It was created relatively recently, in 1968, at the Bar Basso in Milan.
Legend has it that it was created by mistake by the young inexperienced bartender, who, not remembering the recipe, confused the bottle of gin with that of prosecco.
The Negroni Sbagliato immediately became the aperitif of the moment, to the extent of still becoming famous all over the world today.
We offer you a variation of the Negroni cocktail suitable for the Christmas holidays, the NEGRONI BRULÉ, precisely because it recalls vin brulé (mulled wine), a typical winter drink made with red wine flavoured with spices.
